No matter their DM leadership style, Marvel's heroic problem solvers will bring a unique flare to their Dungeons and Dragons campaign.

Marvel has had its fair share of crossovers in the past, but never before has a Marvel Superhero sat down and led a Dungeons and Dragons campaign. D&D is a tabletop role-playing game in which players create characters and act out scenarios created by the Dungeon Master (DM for short). Not only will it be fun to see different superheroes sit down and play other characters, it will be even more interesting to see which heroes make good DMs.

A good DM is fair, confident, quick on their feet, and is always willing to let the players go wild with their imaginations. There are many Marvel heroes who fit this bill. Most will be happy to play the part, although some will DM just to get that sweet, sweet TPK. No matter the leadership style, Marvel's heroic problem solvers will bring a unique flare to their Dungeons and Dragons campaign.

One thing a DM needs to be is reliable. Without the DM, a party's weekly game can't happen. The Dungeon Master is the glue that holds the group together. Unfortunately, Peter Parker is often too busy being Spider-Man to hold to his obligations; but, his nerdy instincts and humor will make up for any last-minute canceled sessions.

Sitting down at a table run by such a creative, brilliant, and funny DM would be a treat for any Dungeons and Dragons player. Peter Parker is also the kind of person who might fudge a roll or two to make sure a player doesn't die, just because he likes the party so much.

Tony Stark loves to have a good time. Whether it's a huge party with hundreds of people or a D&D party of only six, Stark will find a way to inject life into any gathering. Running a game of Dungeons and Dragons is one thing, but selling the world and the NPCs to players is another thing entirely.

The showman in Tony Stark would enthrall any player. With his natural charisma, he would create a vivid and entertaining world. As long as someone brought a pizza to the session, Mr. Stark would be one happy and very talented DM.

Never known for being serious, Johnny Storm would make the perfect DM for a group of players who just wanted to break down doors and slaughter as many goblins, kobolds, or orcs their hearts desire. Creative in his own right, Johnny would describe the intense actions sequences of D&D with visual and captivating language.

Not only that, but Johnny Storm's outgoing nature would make him the perfect showman to pull off amazing NPC performances. One wouldn't find Storm running a serious game with much strategy or planning; but, he would put on one heck of a show.

For those looking to jump into a much more serious game, where strategy is king and every decision is life or death, Nick Fury is the man for the job. No mercy will be given to players who make a dumb choice, no battle will be forgiving, and parties will find themselves quaking with fear at Fury's BBEG.

Serious to the core, there would be no joking around for Nick Fury. Instead, he would run a tight game that's intricate and detailed. For the player looking to get lost in a game, Nick Fury would become their favorite DM.

Imagine a party sitting down to a table and Professor X wheeling up to the DM spot. The room slowly disappears, and each party member actually becomes his or her character. Such will be the game if the famous and incredibly powerful mutant runs D&D.

Charles Xavier would be able to take each player's thoughts and use them to create a world in the minds of the party, a world so real everyone would believe they were actually playing in it. VR pales in comparison to the game Professor Xavier would run in the minds of imaginative players.

One might imagine a lawyer as being a pretty terrible DM, being far too strict about the rules and preventing players from having enough freedom over their characters. Thankfully, Jennifer Walters — better known as She-Hulk — isn't a stuffy lawyer

She-Hulk is quick-witted, kind, and even shows her humorous side by breaking the fourth wall from time to time. Walters will make a great DM, especially for new players, offering gentle guidance on the rules while also razzing for silly mistakes. Fun all around, She-Hulk will excel as a DM.

One of the more important elements of running a D&D game is describing combat scenarios to the players. In order to do this, the DM either needs to be very creative or have seen some... stuff. Black Widow finds herself in the latter camp. From being a Russian spy to working as an Avenger, Natasha has seen every amount of combat one could imagine

Using her first-hand knowledge, Natasha Romanoff could create immersive and intriguing combat scenarios. It also wouldn't hurt to have a DM who knows how to joke, but can get serious at a moments notice. That level of improvisation would make Black Widow a seasoned Dungeon Master in no time.

Some parties are looking for just that: a party. Enter Scott Lang, or Ant-Man to his friends. Scott is a jokester who sometimes pushes the envelope of decency when it comes to his comedy. But that's perfect for a D&D session, especially when the party members are just there to have a good time and slay some goblins.

One may not be too impressed with Scott Lang's organization or planning, but his ability to think on his feet and problem solve will get him out of any pickles the group can throw his way. Ant-Man will soon prove himself a fun, if somewhat scatterbrained, DM.

Some players see a Dungeons and Dragons campaign as a game they're playing against the DM, always trying to one up or break the DM's story. Squirrel Girl is the perfect Dungeon Master for players like that. Not only is she unbeatable, but Doreen Green is also funny and witty.

Squirrel Girl would create interesting and expressive NPC's who were just as colorful as her squirrel sidekicks. Her yearning to prove herself would also make her a dedicated and loyal DM, one who ran a campaign for the same party for decades. Doreen would be fantastic behind the DM screen, as long as she kept her squirrels out of the game snacks.

Every good D&D party needs a magic user, but what if the magic user was the DM? That's exactly what one can expect with Stephen Strange running the game. It's one thing cast spells by rolling some dice, but it's another thing entirely to throw spells across the table.

Stephen's ability to create illusions will enhance any game. Dr. Strange is also a medical doctor, making him organized and responsible enough to run a fun and engaging campaign. Keep the time stone away from Strange — so he doesn't undo any critical failures — and one will have a DM worthy of the ages.
