We finally have a God of War Ragnarok release date: according to Sony just this morning, it’s out on November 9, 2022.
The release date coincided with a new cinematic trailer, as well as a look at the collector’s editions of the game (detailed below). Note that the God of War Ragnarok release date both applies to the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game. Not that we’d expect otherwise! But it will be a dual launch as planned for 2022, just in time for the holiday. It’s kind of amazing that they pulled it off.
You can find a more detailed breakdown of the physical versions of God of War Ragnarok here, and Sony states that pre-orders will go live on July 15 at 10AM “local time” (which is 10AM ET for North America).
As usual, there’s big boxes of plastic you can buy if you’re so inclined. It’s a AAA release after all! Here are all of the tiers:
