The contents of the Silver Tempest's Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box for the Pokémon TCG: Sword & Shield-Silver Tempest set has been revealed.

The contents of the Silver Tempest Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box for the Pokémon Trading Card Game have been revealed, with the set available to pre-order right now. The Pokémon TCG Silver Tempest set is due to launch in November, and could very well be the last Pokémon TCG set based on the Gen 8 games, which consist of Pokémon Sword and Shield, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, and Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will kick off Gen 9 in November, which will also usher in a new era for the card game.

The Pokémon TCG: Silver Tempest set will feature creatures from throughout the history of the series. It has been confirmed that the Pokémon TCG: Silver Tempest set will contain Alolan Vulpix VSTAR, Serperior VSTAR, Unown VSTAR, Regieleki VMAX, Regidrago VSTAR, and Mawile VSTAR, as well as introducing more Radiant Pokémon cards to the game, including Radiant Jirachi and Radiant Alakazam. Radiant cards are limited to one per deck, but they don't count towards the number of Pokémon that share their name.

The people who want to start out with a stack of Pokémon TCG: Silver Tempest cards can do so by buying a Silver Tempest Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box. These can be pre-ordered for $49.99 from the Pokémon Center website. The set is expected to ship in mid-November, around the time when the Pokémon TCG: Silver Tempest set launches on November 11.

The Silver Tempest Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box contains ten Pokémon TCG: Silver Tempest booster packs, sixty-five card sleeves depicting Alolan Vulpix, sixty-five card sleeves depicting Lugia, and forty-five Pokémon TCG Energy cards. The set also has a player’s guide, six damage-counter dice, a competition-legal coin-flip die, a metallic Pokémon coin featuring Alolan Vulpix, two acrylic condition markers, an acrylic VSTAR marker, and a collector’s box with four dividers. Finally, the set has a code card that can be redeemed in Pokémon Trading Card Game Live.

The Silver Tempest Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box has a lot of items for people familiar with the game, though people who are brand new to the Pokémon TCG will probably want to check out the pre-made starter decks first, as these provide a balanced experience that helps people get used to the rules. The big boxes are more for people who are already fans of the game and want to start creating decks from the new set, or at least add cards to their existing decks. The time for the Gen 9 Pokémon TCG sets is almost here, as the first Pokémon Scarlet and Violet TCG cards were revealed at the Pokémon World Championships, so it's up to the Pokémon TCG: Silver Tempest set to kick off the Gen 8 Pokémon Trading Card Game sets with a bang.
