Admit it-how many times have you drove, walked, or jogged through one of Hannibal's renovated Victorian houses, especially those that have been converted into Missouri's most popular bed and breakfast, and thought, "Of course I I want to see how that place looks like inside."
And, whenever you look up in a historic district in the city center and see the increasing number of BNB lofts/apartments, tell me that you haven’t asked, maybe you’re asking aloud, “I want to know what they did to this place?”
This Friday and Saturday, you can at least get answers to some of these questions, because as Victoria’s Christmas enters the last weekend, Home and Loft Tours will exhibit four lofts and four residences/BNB every year.
Friday will be the night of the attic. Featured locations of the tour include:
205 North Main-Charlee & Tru above
213 North Main-Above the powder room, with Americana, Pistol Annie and Woodsman rooms
117 South Main-Higher than American decor
511 Birch Street-Quarry
Houses/Beds and B&Bs for Saturday Family Trip include:
Durbach Inn at 221 North 5th
Belvedere Inn at 521 Bird
The home next to Belvedere at 214 North 6th, and
Laura Hawkins Frazier House at 210 North 5th
The tour is only on the main floor, from 5 to 8 o'clock every night.
The ticket is 10 dollars, you can go here to buy yours.
