If New Year's dinner and wine are a bit too monotonous for you-are you interested in walking on hot coals?

You may laugh, but for Delaware people who want to step into 2022 like a boss, this is a real choice. 

Those who like ice instead of fire can enjoy a cool concert performed by Firefly's favorite EDM artist. There is also an event dedicated to furry cosplayers and some luxurious events for kids, including cider toast during the day.  

Here are 10 fun ways to celebrate the New Year in Delaware, including sweet events in Ocean City.

Instead of drinking sparkling wine at midnight, your kids can toast with sparkling cider at noon, surrounded by a group of animals and new friends. Young people will also like handicrafts.

Since the event is held at the zoo, please remember to dress for the weather. Members must register to participate in this event.

Encourage guests to wear their favorite furry costumes and play table games as they enter the New Year in a unique way (with dice) in this celebration. Hosted by The Furst State Foundation, the event is a love letter to the furry community (role players in furry costumes), and features a dealer’s den, a buffet dinner (including Bourbon Street pork and vegetarian tri-color Tortellini al Fresco). )Wait.

If you are allergic to vaccines, guests must provide a vaccination card or test negative for COVID 19 within 72 hours before the event.  

Pre-registered tickets at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Newark Wilmington South (654 S. "Longwood Christmas": more than 500,000 lights shine

Guests of the Delaware Symphony Orchestra and the Delaware Opera, as well as Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell, will host a major concert. There will be two performances that night, including Viennese waltz and polka, Broadway music and New Year's concert tunes. There will also be champagne toast. Guests must wear a mask and provide a vaccination certificate or test negative for COVID-1 within 72 hours of the event.

What are black, white and red? It is called chaos. The most popular Firefly DJ White Panda will paint Dewey Beach red when he participates in the New Year’s Eve celebration again, creating a good atmosphere. Panda gave up his new "Nightclub" album this year, which includes an eclectic artist list of 30 tracks, including "Power Of Pac" (2Pac and Huey Lewis and the news), "1nce Again Friends" (A Tribe Called Quest) And Madeon), "Take What Is Toxic" (Post Malone, Ozzy Osbourne, and Britney Spears), and "Walkin' On Jackie Chan" (Smash Mouth, Tiësto, and Dzeko).

Wave goodbye to 2021 on a tropical beach. The celebration will include a buffet dinner, appetizers, gourmet dessert station, coffee bar, open bar and champagne toast. Provide the soundtrack that night will be the son of a pirate. Reservations are required.

Not everyone is a night owl. And twisted painting knows this. Adults will have the opportunity to welcome the New Year early, while having a glass of wine with friends and tasting their favorite snacks. The Premier Ocean City nightclub Seacrets is designed to allow you to dance after most New Year's Eve events. This year, they will let you party until 4 AM. The celebration includes champagne toast and balloon landing at midnight, followed by another four hours of live entertainment. There will be five bands and three DJs throughout the evening. Guests can also enjoy a three-course dinner for an extra fee.

This event is a test for anyone who wants to break their restrictive beliefs. At the same time, if people are not sure whether they are healthy enough to complete this challenge, they should consult a doctor. After all, spending New Year's Day in the hospital is not a good thing.
