The Vikings tied with the other 4 NFC teams with a score of 6-7, vying for the last wildcard position in the NFC. Washington is currently in a tie-breaker against Minnesota, Philadelphia, Atlanta and New Orleans. Star Tribune sports columnist Jim Souhan joined my WJON today. He said Washington and Philadelphia are the two teams most likely to miss the Vikings in the playoffs. Su Han said that the Vikings are not good, and the teams that compete with them are not good either. He said that Philadelphia seemed to have played the best in the group. Su Han said that the two confrontations between Washington and Philadelphia in the last four weeks may be the decisive factor in deciding who gets the NFC No. 7 seed. He said that if Washington or Philadelphia swept the two games, it might be enough to push them into the playoffs.
